Deer are protected animals in Ireland and cannot be hunted – a proud stag featured on the old Irish pound coin before the euro currency came in 2001. Cernunnos was a Celtic god who took the form of a stag when on Earth, he was honoured when a hunt was bountiful. The deer on the front of this t – shirt appear through a rising mist, and are camouflaged though the barley on the back . An original design by Mike O’Connor.
