In the West of Ireland the crows are everywhere – with their noisy sunset gatherings and their very individual character. The demonic Irish figure of the Morrígan is a war deity sometimes appearing in legends as the form of a crow, flying above the warriors – she brings the gift of foresight. Crows are often regarded as lucky especially if they roost in your trees! Our crows are emblazoned across our sea front gable wall, which makes our building fairly recognisable from afar!
