In the West of Ireland, the crows are everywhere – with their noisy sunset gatherings and their very individual character. The demonic Irish figure of the Morrígan is a war deity sometimes appearing in legends as the form of a crow, flying above the warriors – she brings the gift of foresight. Crows are often regarded as lucky especially if they roost in your trees! Our crows are emblazoned across our Atlantic sea-facing gable wall, making our building fairly recognisable! An original design by Mike O’Connor.
