The Celtic Tiger

‘An Tiogar Ceilteach’ translates as the ‘Celtic Tiger’ which is a name put on the boom of the Irish economy in the nineties! Traces of this mythical beast can be seen in the form of clusters of huge building sites that sprung up overnight, and remained unfinished to this day. The tiger was brought to his knees by the ‘Recession’ in 2007/2008.
